Thinking about a 780 -drawbacks? 700

My 89 780 does just fine, just smogged like new, and the body lived for most of its life in Boston and had hardly any rust dots, although the aluminum and steel motor parts show east coast exposure. Most problems were due to bad previous mechanics and legacy known problems with the B230FT drive train. US 780s were only V-6 and Turbo 4 with automatics, however in EU you could have a manual tranny with OD and a D24T diesel added to the options list. Parts books at dealers are in paper only. In past year I sw one at PNP and three at commercial junk yard. It looks good, rides well, handles fabulously, and looks like the designer car it is! It's your call if it fits.
