Not Getting Any Heat 200 1991

I have a 240 Volvo that I am completely in love with. The 240 and I have recently moved to Colorado (which might be important because we live at considerable altitude, over 6000 feet). Problematically, the car is not getting hot. I cannot get any heat out of the heat vents (normally never a 240 problem). The engine temperature gauge is also always all the way down (it remains this way even after 2+ hours on continuous driving). I have had this particular 240 for several years and did not encounter this problem until now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might improve this situation, I am getting cold. :)

Thanks,
Katie
(22, Colorado)
