Instrument cluster removal 200 1980

What's the trick to getting the instrument cluster out of an early style 240 ( 1980 )?
I've got the wires and speedo disconnected, the two screws on the front at the bottom off, and don't see anything else holding it in place. It won't pop loose at the top. I can feel what seems like some spring clips along the top inside, but nothing seems to want to budge. I don't want to break it.
