Okay, Thanks jim for having the cell on, it was
a big help talking with someone who has a clue...lol
SUCCESS, I think!
The car runs!!!!
In fact it spun a rear wheel taking
off at the corner. Not bad for an
automatic...LOL
I tightened the adjusting nuts all
the way up and came down 9 flats.
This worked pretty well until it
backfired in my face(glasses on),
and I had to go change my pants...ha ha ha!
I then turned then up a couple(2) flats
each, and it seemed to want to backfire more
often. I stood at the front of the car
for these trials!
So back down 2-3 and it seems fine.
No more backfiring for now!!!
OKAY, QUESTIONS!!!
1. What causes backfiring???
Is it too much gas or not enough OR is it something else?
2. I have this slight hesitation when I step on the gas really fast.
It does take off but it seems like it takes off faster if I ease into it.
It runs fine at speed if I jump on it, it goes no hesitation
but maybe that's just because of the kickdown?
Thanks again for the help!
Karl
