spark plug pics. take a look

Aren't those carbon deposits? Maybe the wires are shot, besides 40k is way too long for a part that's 4 bucks tops and easy to change. I also live in south florida and I use the Rotella 15W-40 (for diesel trucks! haha)after many years of castrol 20w-50. The 20w-50 is too much and worsens gas mileage and could contribut to higher than normal crankcase pressures. I'd also reccomend the NGK plugs over the Bosch Super. Maybe the carbon deposits are from oil blowing past rings from the highly viscous oil you're using. At any rate #4 plug, cylinder, you name it, anything to do with #4 is usually the first go bad; I wonder why?

P.S. I went to the u-pick with the rocket out front that you recommended. It's ok. right now they got a 700 wagon with turbo and intercooler (I might snag the block next week), about three 244's, and two 245's, and three 700's. Not too shabby.

P.S.S. When you give up on something, where do you get your car serviced? I'm new to Miami and 'don't trust none of these places!
