electric mirror troubleshooting ...guidance needed please 200 1993

Hello to all, and thanks to all that have taken time to help me previously on my project car!

Neither side mirror works!! I haven't done anything yet ....because I am very ignorant on the electrical things. Where do I start? This car has the switches in the console front, kinda below the E-brake lever ( I guess that is how to explain it).

Are these switches normally the problem?

I have tried to find information in the FAQ's, but had no luck.

Any help, as usual, will be humbly appreciated!
