Not normal acceleration from a stand still. 900 1993

Hello all,

Well my 1993 940 non turbo has a 1995 940 non turbo engine. I have put about 1700 miles on it, i have had the car about a month. My question is why when i accelerate does the rpm drop and then go back up. For example i am at a stop light light turs green i touch the gas to go and the rpm's drop almost like it wants to stall. It only does it from a stand still. I think it just might be a vacume leak, but there are alot of vacume tubes to look at under the hood.
Any help would be awsome i am trying to make this car last a while and i am trying to make everything as right as i can.

Thank you very much.

Matt

P.S. This is an awsome forum, i cant wait to start reading more of these threads!
