SOLD. Happy and depressed. 140-160

My 1975 164 drove down the street yesterday without me in it. First time in 2 years. With your help, and because of it, I was able to rescue it from a salvage yard and get it running again. Boy, did I learn a lot!
The new owner, a kid in his 20's, will probably post here. He has a 745T and has caught the Volvo "bug".
What the 164 needed most was to be driven. Sitting for 3 years caused many of the seals to dry up, as it was leaking everything from everywhere. My greatest dread was a tranny leak (front) but that went away after putting a few hundred miles on it. The oil leaks also went away by themselves. The more it ran the better it got.
Of course, newly cleaned injectors helped a LOT. So did the exhaust manifold gasket to the dual exhaust pipe. But I didn't have to replace the water pump gasket, it slowly stopped leaking. An amazing car.
I hated to see her go, but now the V70 has room in the garage and a new owner is very happy. Say hi to Erik when he posts here.
Thanks for all of the help and generosity, from Sweden to Australia, the Brickboard has been an incentive for me to now help others.

I did keep the spare ECU, in case someone needs one!
