Question for those using 8mm and larger spark plug wires 200 1989

How did you fit the wires in the two plastic rectangular wire brackets? I got a set of 8mm Kingsborne wires and they seem to be a good fit and look pretty nifty, to boot. I got the blue set, and it adds color to my engine bay! Anyhow, I was able to fit the wires in the circular bracket by using a dremel and slightly increasing the size. However, for the rectangular brackets, I can't really do that for fear of breaking the prongs. Will forcing the wire between the prongs work? What did you guys do? Reuse the brackets or tossed them away? I'd really like to reuse them.
