Heater 900 1992

My heater has gone out. The controls and fan work, the thermostat seems okay, yet when I turn the control the air is cold, no warm air at all, although there seems to be a modest reduction in the cold air coming out. Bad heater core? Blockage in the line? I could use som advice. Thanks
