One More Idle Question (it's almost good!) 200

1986 240 DL Atomatic

I''ve almost got my rough idle problems under control. You guys have helped me alot in the past. Now the car idles perfectly when in drive. For exampe, if i cruise to a stop light, it's very smooth. However, if i shift into Park, the idle gets stumbly again. As soon as i put it back in drive, its smooth again.

Am i correct in thinking that the intake switches from the AIC to the throttle body when the transmission moves from park to drive? If not, what component is in play only when idling in park?

Thanks Again,
Jon Zaremba
