fixing rear glass defrost circuit 200

When I bought my turbo-beater, the rear defrost wire-on-glass system was not working. Does anybody have some suggestions or tricks for where to start when diagnosing the problem with this circuit? I don't have manuals for the car yet, so does anybody know which fuse this circuit runs through?

Do these units fail commonly, and if so, where's the weak link?
