How would I reset odometer? 200 1988

rhaire:

I totally agree with your comment! Unfortunately, there are "sharks" out there that buy pristine 240s from lil' ol' ladies with 250K miles on them for $500 and then crank back the ODO and sell them for $2K! You know, a little armorall, wax, tire shine, and a tweak on the ODO, before you know it, they are rich and the buyer is SCREWED!

Seriously, ran into a "psychic" that was selling 240s right and left in front of his house, perhaps one a week. While "negotiating" with him, he had to go in the house and take a "whiz", I took the opportunity lift the blanket off of his work bench in the garage and found four speedo/odo units that were disassembled. You tell me, is this an "honest" seller?
