740 wagon pulls to right? 700

Hello, back again! Question concerning a 1992 740 wagon that is pulling/tracking to the right with brakes off. I took the car in for an alignment, and was told that was fine, front end checked out, and that it was the front tire that had thrown a belt, and to just drive it! I removed the tire, replaced with rather new snows and the same situation, MAYBE, slightly less. This all seemed to correspond to the time I was backing out of a parking space quickly, and in so doing hit the rear of the tire against a curb, hard. Again, mechanic, who is reliable said it was not an alignment problem. What could be the cause? bearings? who knows. Any help would be appreciated, before I keep spending money needlessly. Thanks!
