power steering A/C belt trick? 200 1984

Thought I'd ask here before I dig in. I need to replace the power steering belt, but will obviously need to remove the belt around the A/C. I can see where the power steering pump can be adjusted, but it looks like the A/C is fixed to the block with no adjustments available. How do I remove that belt? The Bentley manual has no real information, just a blanket statement that "it may be necessary to remove other belts in the process..." - I guess they are assuming some prior knowledge that I do not posess, (yet!).
