Thermostats 200

How about some input on thermostats? I have always maintained that the 87 degree thermostat is the one that will keep a B230 temp gauge at the center point. However, recently, I've had two local parts shops tell me that this is not the OE replacement temp. One is saying it should be the 92 degree thermostat (which my 850 uses)...and the other says 82! I have not replaced one in awhile, but my recollection is that the 87 is correct. What say you bricksters? I want my gauges to read center sweep when I'm done.

thanks,

Dave
