Fuel Filler Door 700

My trusted '91 745 with 162K just got injured. Just filled up the tank, in NJ, by law, filling is done by attendants. This particular attendant broke off my filler door trying to put the gas cap in the door mounted holder. It looks like a piece of the plastic hinge broke off. It looks like this plastic is adhered to the body metal inside the filler compartment. Anyone have any experience with this kind of repair? Thanks as always.
