Driver´s door wire harness 900

Hi all! My passenger’s power mirror will tilt sideways, but not up/down. I finally traced the fault to one of the wires that run within the driver’s door wire harness. When the driver’s door is fully opened, all controls work fine, however when the door is closed or ajar, I loose the mirror’s control. When I removed the door panel, I saw the PO had rigged the harness to correct the same fault, with the power locks. Apparently my harness is getting pinched when the door is closed, and, for now, a couple of wires are loosing contact. Is it advisable to change the entire harness, or should I guide an extra wire from the switch to the kick panel, as was done with the power locks? Where can I purchase this wire harness online? Has anyone replaced this harness? The connectors on either ends seem too big to fit through the holes on the door…. Your ideas are highly appreciated!
