Amazon starting/auto trans problem 120-130

Jacob;

Q: "What connection in the shifter would cause the starter to engage?"

A: Only an faulty IGN switch, or in your case incorrectly wired Start Switch.
The Neutral Safety Switch only ENABLES the Starter Relay by providing the ground to the relay coil...the high side is (should) still supplied by the IGN Switch/Start Sw.

Who came up with this start switch design and who wired it?....something sounds very wrong!

I suggest you investigate wiring and report back! DONOT DRIVE car until this is corrected...it is not SAFE!

S;

A correctly designed and installed Start Switch is not assinine IMO...its actually a pretty damned good idea (but that again is only my opinion)... why don't you ask how many people have broken keys AFTER correctly installing one!

Cheers
