'Thumping' noise when stopping.....what's up???? 200 1986

Here's the most recent problem. I hope it's not a big one. I installed new Brembo rotors and PRR pads front and rear last weekend in addition to new Boge struts and rear shocks. All has been just fine until I went to stop this morning and heard and felt through the brake pedal a thumping sound coming from what sounded like the front driver's side. As I maintain pressure on the brake pedal, the noise and feeling slows as the car slows down. Is this the one of many symptoms of a failing caliper. There is no pulling to one side or the other. If this is a caliper issue, would getting a pair from the Boneyard for the fronts from a low mileage donor car be a good option?

Thanks in advance for your input.
