HS6 solution? 140-160

Well, aside from the nuttiness after the second motor swap, this ignition has been trouble free ever since it was installed. unless there is a serious reason not to keep it, I'm not going to introduce another variable with which I'm unskilled.
I'll give the other dizzy a go when I can rule out the carbs as a problem

Considering the fun I've been having with these HIF6s, I'm going to dig up my other throttle parts and hook up my 3-bolt HS6s. I checked them over thoroughly yesterday and found that the brass throttle spindles were VERY worn whiiel the castings were still quire circular. I switched the spindles with some better ones and will be trying those venerable carbs tomorrow. If I see noticeable improvement and idle behavior, I'll know that the HIF6s need more work.
