Slight 'diesel' sound in a red block 200 1982

I recently put some new Volvo engine mounts in the 245 and while I was at it, I changed the oil to 10w30 with a NAPA filter. Now I'm noticing a slight noise at idle that makes it sound sort of like a diesel motor. There was a thread about this awhile back, but it turned into a motor oil debate. I've got 4 bar at idle according the oil gauge.

Is this common with the red blocks? Do I need to adjust my valves perhaps? Go to a different weight of oil? Or is it more serious?
