You're probably in for a lot of work. I won't say it's impossible, because I've seen pictures of swaps, but it's not any kind of a bolt-in deal.

The bottoms of the tracks are quite different.

The best bet really would be to find seats from a junked GL or one of the few wrecked SE's or CLassics that are being parted out- search on Ebay or look up Erie Volvo in upstate New York (Buffalo area)... www.erievovo.com

It would be easiest to just find something that bolts in. The 740 seats, while commonly available in leather, aren't the same in many aspects, not the least of which is the seatbelt retractor and receiver bolted onto them.
