That Micro Switch that will not let me shift out of park S90-V90 1998

Mark, thank you for the information. To date, the only problem is that I cannot shift out of park without depressing the override button (yes, after driving it for over a 100K, I DO REMEMBER to put my foot on the brake). All other lights and other functions seem to work fine.

I read the instructions here, seems like a headache, but a doable job to chase down the micro switch and test it. I assume the testing instructions are correct. I have a crappy shop manual, I will see if I can find the brake switch and test the output from it just to be sure that it has not gone bad.....
