Its their money. They can do whatever they want. Ford can have the "crossover", and the crossunder(if they can find one).

Meanwhile, when is the last time I made a car payment?...Hmmm? Lets see 19...?
I cant remember.

I wonder if anyone could produce a modern car that has the soul of the volvo 240.
LIke relatively easy to fix, long lasting, safe, unique etc? The chinese maybe? Who? Possible at all?

Or does such a beast already exist?

I sense that the 240 was built for a practical set of people who were not consumed with image, but with utility.
I, for one, am not interested in a car that will cost a fortune to aquire, and then another fortune to keep on the road. Count me out! I dont care what it may look like.
