Rust in the gas tank?? 140-160

Good Day All,
Well, after sitting around on jack stands for 5 months, I have my rebuilt tranny in the 71 142E and it works fine. Later I will be searching for tranny gears to rebuild my old tranny. There are more pressing matters to tend to
I am having fuel starvation symptoms, and sure enough I dumped out a handfull of rust from my fuel filter. I turned up my pressure from 28psi to 32 psi and got some improvement in symptoms.
What are people doing now for fuel tank restoration? The only fuel tanks I know of are new and are listed for '74 and newer Volvos. I guess they will not fit my 71.
Any suggestions from the group?
Thanks
Joel
