What needs to be in the essential trunk tool kit? 200 1990

I am glad to see that someone metioned a Cell-phone. Most people have them now but if not there are some inexpensive pay as you go phones. I also have found a decent toolkit at the local discount shopping center. It has about 50Pcs several wrenches, sockets, multi-tip screwdriver. Not what you want to use every day but, this has covered most of my needs on the road it cost less than $20.

As per parts to carry this just comes with experience with your car. I have found that my car has a weak wire harness so I make sure that I have a roll of electrical tape and some crimp terminal to do repairs. Also if I am going to be away I throw in the 12V Compresser, a 12V trouble light, a spare AMM, and roll of Papertowels, fuel pump relay and spare fuses.
