Rust in the gas tank?? 140-160

por-15 makes a 2 part tank coating kit for about $50.
First part is the cleaner that you slosh around the tank to ge all the scale and rust out. Its pretty acidic so I would be adding it to my martini's.

2nd part is an epoxy you pour in and rotate it around the tank, It gets about 1/16" to 1/8" coating on the inside of the tank that seals the metal away from the gas, seals in the all the remaining rust flakes, and seals up any leaks in the tank.

I used it on the old steal tank in my boat (volvo penta powered of course).
Allas there where to many leaks in that old tank and I ended up gluing it to the driveway.

Judging by how hard I had to whack it with an engineering mallet to get it loose, it sets up pretty well.
