I would like to give a big THANK YOU to "interstition" (Andy). He came by this morning to help me out after my voltage regulator died, leaving me without transportation. He had a spare handy, and after a little wrenching, I was good to go. I couldn't find one at any of the local shops (found complete alternators only, I guess they want to sell you more than you need), and as it's the holidays, my family and I were left in quite a pickle. I'm not sure if Andy knows how much this really means to us, that he was gracoius enough to come over and help.
This is what this board is all about, helping each other out. I only hope that in the future, I'll be able to help someone else here out of a jam.
