B 6304 Head Problems 900 1995

I think I have found the root of my oil consumption and coolant leak. I removed the heat shield from the exhaust manifold and see substantial weepage of oil and coolant at the rear of the head/block. I also changed the spark plugs and found that the further I got to the rear of the engine, the spark plug cavities had more and more oil in them. The last spark plug had oil puddling in the socket. The plugs were not tight and you could see evidence of blow-by at the plug holes.

I guess the big question is, is it the gasket or the head itself? Has anyone encountered this?

Thanks,
Tony
