940 suddenly starts bucking/lurching; little power 900 1994

Give a long, hard look at the intake ducting and hoses for leaks. The bellows ducting from the AMM to the throttle body can develop splits that are almost invisible down in the folds. It can also erode through due to rubbing on other parts. This will thoroughly confuse the ECU due to lean running. As the engine stumbles and rocks in its mounts, the splits will widen and close exacerbating the problem.

Another leak situation could be the Idle Air Valve hoses - again a careful look for loose fittings or splits. Also - vacuum hoses/tubes.
