780 warm up problem--- Merry Chistmas! 700 1990

It's barely getting cold in Georgia even here at Christmas, but my 780 4 cyl. Turbo will crank easily but has little power at start up. Idles and accellerates in neutral OK, but has no power under load. In about 5 minutes, or when temp gauge starts to rise, it gets all better, and when temp gauge gets about quarter way up, it smooths out and has normal power.

Engine is in good tune and computer shows no codes. Temp gauge sensor and coolant sensor are fresh, coolant is fresh. Studied FAQ's and my manuals but am stumped. Any ideas! Thanks and you should be out shopping and not on the computer!....Merry Christmas.
