Intermittent Stalling 200

I have a 1989 240 wagon that is starting to frustrate me. The car starts and idles great and runs great. When idling in drive the car will develop a miss and then will eventually stall. Engine will restart fine and idle untill in drive. The car has stalled at traffic lights and is starting to be a problem. I checked all vacuum lines, and electrical grounds and found nothing. I am starting to question the ecu since it is a pink label 561. I checked the diagnostics but get 1-1-1 for both units. What are the simptoms of failing ecu? Which one should i suspect the FI or the ECU.
