HI yall..
Earlier this year me and a very good friend left washington d.c. with the intent of driving all the way to the end of the world..ushuaia argentina..
this trip had been in back of my mind and sorta being planned for the past 4 yrs..
untill the moment came to buy a car to do it..long story short..
bought a 1979 Volvo 245dl with a B21f and manual M46.
THIS WAS the best choice we made..the car..AKA churrasco. was just amazing..
it whent thru some real amazing stuff.....ran out of pavement at night doing 70mph in costa rica..at night..hours and hours of washboard roads..
all in all with very good confort..and security..
well this is just a little bit of editing..
hope you all enjoy..
gosh i love these cars...miss the car terribly..had to leave him behind.
trip took 7 months...driving hundered of miles everyday...in parts of equador..75 octane only available..
this car is indestructible..starte in my hands with 210k i had NO reservations if the car could make it..the only things that whent wrong was a bad previouse repair of some wired coming off the dist..aside from that..just flat tires..busted rims...amazing
