Hey Nate--look up Puffin Motors, Volvo specialists. They used to be in the Union Square area and worked on my 544 a few times...right around the time I realized I couldn't afford to have people working on my 544 for me. They are nice, reasonable guys, but be prepared for a lack of enthusiasm on the part of almost any garage you approach about this: most unrepaired 544 linkages have seriously worn brackets and shafts, and need extensive rebuilding/machining in order to be improved. In my experience this isn't the sort of work that shops feel they can make money on. Best--Nate
