I had done alot of research on this. Even looked into a VW Passat with the TDI motor. From everything that I have read the TDI is an incredible motor. Just look at the Audi R10! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_R10 Any time you mix direct injection and a turbo really good things can happen.

The trick with the TDI is to use the Audi / VW computer that came with the car. Unlike most cars the TDI uses a wide band O2 sensor that also needs to be used.

That isn't the half of it. The Tourag uses a V10 TDI; A V10!!!

hmmm v10. twin turbo...
