Prestone coolant back-flush kit installation for a 1987 760 Turbo 700 1987

Has anyone ever installed one of those Prestone coolant back-flush kits on their Volvo, and if so, how well did it work? I have a 1987 760 Turbo and I wanted to put one in recently and didn't like what I saw under the hood - you know - I didn't want to start slicing through heater hoses only to find I installed it in the wrong spot. If anyone has experience with these kits and their Volvos I sure could use the help. I have installed these on a bunch of different cars over the years with no problems, but my 760 looks a bit more daunting. Step-by-step would be great! Thanks!!
