update. Looks like my 90-240 auto doesnt get 34 mpg. The ugly truth is...

I did the same trip recently. My od read 257 mi. I used 7.639 gals of gas which would give me 33.64 mpg. However, according to map quest the trip is only approx 188mi. Which gives me about 24.61 mpg. Bummer!
I could probably improve that a bit, if I didnt drive 80mph all the time on that trip. I wonder what the numbers would be, at say 65mph?
I guess ignorance is bliss, Huh?
Looks like I need a new speedo.
