Sunroof leaking

I have a 93 945t and am having some problems with the sunroof, In the closed position the rear left corner isnt lined up with the roofline it sits about 1/8 of an inch low. This isnt new it's been like that for the year I've owned the car, What is new is the 1/2" of water I found in the rear floorboard this morning after alot of rain last night. So far I've flushed out all the drains and they seem to be working fine now, but I also noticed that the seal around the top of the sunroof isnt fixed in place any more, it will slide up and down a little along the rear edge. I need some advice on:
1) repairing or replacing the seal.
2) Adjusting the height of the roof.
3) the PITA factor of removing my carpet to dry
