volvo1800 72- Backspace-offset

Backspace measure is old school, but is still helpful to get an idea
if the tire will rub on the inside.
I had to buy a metric tape measure to get a 'handle' on the offset measurements.
Basically it is a center of wheel to mounting surface measurement.
I got 56 inches wide on the 145 axle. I will try to get by the body shop where my ES
is to confirm axle width on it.
Some 72-73 hubs from E-Bay and 5x4&1/4 centerlines would square the front end up.
A 391 {auto} pumpkin might work in light of the increased wheel circumference
with those big tires. And everything would bolt right up....
Just a thought,
Ken
