92 940 Wagon Help

All,

My in-laws have a 92 940 Wagon, non-turbo. Recently they've been having problems with coolant and turned out there was a leaking hose. replaced the hose and when my father-in-law drove to the next town it over heated again and started bucking. He coasted into my sister-in-laws and there's it's stayed. He said he saw steam coming out of "some odd places" once he parked. I haven't had a chance to get over and look at it again but I wanted to get some opinions before I started over blind.

Any ideas on this would help as this is their only car. I'm kind of miffed on this one.

TIA

Brian
