Why dont' more ppl restore Volvo's? 140-160

Ok, so maybe I'm a little biased in my opinion of what makes a classic iconic car, but why arent' the late 60's and 70's Volvo considered collectible enough to fetch some good prices of minty specimens?

Sure I haven't owned a RWD Volvo since I was given one in the late 90's after I left HS, but I'd seriously consider one as a resto car...(Esp a nice little 73-74 142S Coupe in British Racing Green :)) I'd have to have all the luck on my side in finding one that hasn't rusted out by now.

Any theories?
