Hello George:

Thanks, but I have the end I need coming from our friends at FCP Groton for much less money, and it should arrive by tomorrow. You were the person who turned me onto that supplier, by the by, and I could not be more grateful. The turnaround times for me in Westchester are unreal.

Also, thanks to your earlier post I realize I do not have a tie rod end separator, which I believe I will need to effect this repair. Do you have a brilliant suggestion about how to do this without ordering a special tool? If not, will this tool work in terms of dimensions:
