I easily found the Cloyes aluminum gear set online, 165$ at Napa, and only 100$ at Rock Auto. What a deal! Looks like good stuff.

While I was there I saw that they also sold a very well priced oil pump made by Febi. You mentioned a good quality oil pump, do you happen to know if this is a good brand?

I have seen flywheels with and without the dowell pins. Are they really necessary?
