Mounting the coil 120-130

Thanks for all the information and the pictures. It never occurred to me that the coil was replaced because of the ignition switch. The armored cable was cut. Why? I don't know. I'll wire up the original coil and see if works. If so, I'll toss the other coil in the trunk for a (yet another) spare part.

I had thought about having a machinist friend bore the old coil out of the mount and using that to hold the new coil with epoxy or ??? Then again, it is running just fine the way it is. Maybe I shouldn't provoke the wrath of Odin by fixing what ain't broke.

BTW, I saw a 445 restoration on autorestorer.com earlier today. Wow. That is true love. The lady never said how much the resto' cost but it had to be at least the equivalent of an S70.
