Tire size experience 700 1989

I have YOKO Avid VR-4 in the 205/55-16 size on the 745. They are a rather close fit, but everything clears, even when cornering and hitting a bump. The 215/60 size will be (obviously) 10mm wider, or 5mm on each side, plus they will be about 7mm taller (diameter). Those are pretty small differences, so I'd say they'll fit, if you are using rims with the proper (25mm?) offset.

If you can get a couple for a front&rear fitment test on one side before buying, that would be the way to go.

A buddy has the Blizzaks on his Audi TT-Quattro. Absolutely amazing on hard-packed snow or ice (no studs). And they are wide...can't remember size, but real fatties. He says the car is tons more fun in the winter than on bare pavement. But that's a excellent AWD system there.
