Apparently serious B30 engine problem 140-160 1969

Dunno whether this is of any help but many moons ago I bent a pushrod putting the rocker shaft back on a B30. Wasn't properly seated in the cam follower when I did up the bolts. Didn't realise until the engine ran. Made a hell of a noise. Worked out what was wrong so removed rocker shaft and checked pushrods. One had a slight bend. Doesn't take much before it starts to hit stuff. Because your engine will turn more than one full revolution maybe a well-bent pushrod could be the culprit?
Ben been exploring the rev limit on a B30? :)
