New Steering Rack S90-V90

So I get my Indy to install a remanufactured rack. I pick it up yesterday and it is easier to turn than ever, like one hand and I can turn the steering easy. Which is fine, BUT on the way into work at the end of my trip suddenly it's harder to turn. Like a lot harder, but not all the time. My question is, is this normal until the parts wear in and will clear up, or is this something I need to run over immediately and get taken care of, or what?
