Electrical issues 200 1984

I found the relays on the Haynes manual.

The thing is, those other issues happened only when the fuse was in place (the gauges malfunctioning).

Now that you mentioned and I saw the location of the door lock relays, I can say that the noises behind the dash were also coming from that area (some clack-clack-clacks while driving with the fuse in and the lock know of the door in the up position, and usually pushing the knob down would make it stop).

I saw that AutoZone and Checker have relays (20 bucks though, so I wish I had a way to test them first) but they seem to just have one Door Lock Relay. Are the locking and unlocking relays the same?

What's an inexpensive testing tool that I could buy for this and could come handy later?
