Putting a red block in a 760? 700 1990

A friend has a '90 model 760 with a bad engine (threw a rod). I'm wondering about the possibility of putting a four cylinder engine out of a 740 in it.

I've researched going from a 6 to a 4 in a 264, which is no big deal at all, but don't know anything about the similarities/differences in the 700 series cars.

Would this be an easy swap, or would it end up being a real headache?

Thanks!
